Outside Influence

The slanted world of Pytha has been ravaged by conflict for centuries. The lower and upper halves of the world constantly engage in conflicts that throw its denizens' fates into disarray. This constant fighting has caused creatures called forces to start meddling in the affairs of mortals. Changing their fates and altering the course of history is as easy as simply saying the right words to the right character.

In this game each player takes upon the role of their own force. Viewing the world as one figurative and  literal chessboard. Each player will moves pieces representing characters in the conflict and manipulate their stories to fit their force's own goals.
Will you help a common citizen reach their destiny as a chosen one, cause a ruler to obliterate their foes, or make sure that your favorite mortal pairing falls in love?

This game is designed to be a sandbox roleplaying game, but with everybody as the almighty force that changes the course of the story. There is no GM so the game entirely relies on all players maintaining their shared story. Players will use cards to influence their mortals actions while moving the pieces representing the mortals on a physical chess board.
